These terms form a contract between you and Vuyolusha Bhebhe, trading as Lintel — a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using Lintel you agree to them.
1. About us and these terms
You can contact us at support@lintelapp.co.uk.
These terms apply to everyone using Lintel. If you are using Lintel as a business, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms on that business's behalf. Some sections apply differently to consumers, and we say so where that is the case.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 to hold an account.
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
- One person or business per account. Do not share logins.
3. The service
Lintel lets you create websites with the help of AI, edit them, and publish them on an address we provide or a domain you own. Features vary by plan, and we describe them on our pricing page.
We may add, change or remove features as the service develops. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you and you may cancel.
4. Subscriptions, trials and billing
Free trial
New subscriptions include a free trial of 7 days. You provide payment details when you sign up, but nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged.
Recurring payments
After any trial, your plan renews automatically each month or year until cancelled. You authorise us to charge your payment method through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown on our pricing page, and include VAT where applicable.
Build allowance and top-ups
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI builds. To keep the service responsive for everyone, builds are also limited within shorter periods during the day. Failed builds are not counted. If you need more before your allowance refreshes you may purchase optional top-up builds. Top-ups do not expire and carry over. They can be refunded within 24 hours of purchase, the same as a subscription payment; after that they are non-refundable.
Price changes
We may change our prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a change affects your renewals, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
Failed payments
If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend access until it succeeds.
5. Your right to cancel
You can cancel at any time from the Billing tab in your dashboard. Your plan remains active until the end of the period you have paid for, and does not renew after that.
If you change your mind, email support@lintelapp.co.uk within 24 hours of a payment and we'll refund it in full. Outside that window we don't refund part-periods.
Consumers: statutory cancellation rights
If you are a consumer in the UK you normally have 14 days from entering the contract to cancel for a refund. Because Lintel is a digital service supplied immediately, by starting to use it you ask us to begin at once and acknowledge you lose that right once the service has been fully supplied. Nothing here affects your rights if the service is faulty or not as described.
6. Acceptable use
Our full Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. In short, you must not use Lintel to create, host or distribute anything that:
- breaks the law, or infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- deceives people, including phishing, impersonation, fake shops or fraudulent schemes;
- contains malware, or attempts to interfere with our systems or other users' sites;
- harasses, threatens, or promotes violence or hatred against people;
- is sexual content involving children, or other content that is illegal to publish;
- attempts to bypass usage limits, resell access to the AI, or extract our prompts or systems.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach this, and may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
7. Sites you build and publish
You are responsible for what you publish, including its accuracy, legality, and any permissions needed for images, text or brands you use. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your own site and visitors, including privacy and cookie rules, and consumer law if you sell through it.
We host published sites on infrastructure we control. We may remove a published site that breaches these terms or the law, and will tell you why where we can.
8. AI-generated content
Lintel uses AI models to generate websites. Because of how these systems work:
- output can contain mistakes, and you should review it before publishing;
- similar briefs may produce similar results for different customers, and we cannot guarantee any output is unique;
- we do not warrant that generated content is free from third-party rights, and you should not assume otherwise for logos, brand names or slogans;
- you are responsible for checking that what you publish is accurate and lawful.
Do not enter personal data about other people, confidential information, or anything you are not entitled to share, into build prompts.
9. Your content and ownership
You keep ownership of what you provide and of the site you create. Our Ownership & Export policy sets out the detail and forms part of these terms, including the limited licence you give us so we can host and display your site.
10. Our intellectual property
The Lintel platform, brand, software and prompts remain ours. These terms give you the right to use the service as intended, and nothing more. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the platform.
11. Third-party services
We rely on providers including Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and accounts) and Anthropic (AI models). Your use of Lintel may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for their services, but we choose them with care and remain responsible to you for the service we provide.
12. Availability
We work to keep Lintel available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may carry out maintenance, and will try to do so at quiet times. To the extent permitted by law the service is provided "as is".
Keep your own copies of anything important. You can export your sites at any time.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Lintel and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if we must for legal reasons, or if your payment fails and stays unpaid. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will give you notice and a chance to put things right.
If your account closes, you may export your sites for 30 days, after which we may delete them.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, data or business, or for indirect or consequential loss.
If you are a consumer, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you agreed these terms. If you use Lintel for business, these limits apply in full.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give reasonable notice by email or in the product. Continuing to use Lintel after a change takes effect means you accept it. If you do not, you may cancel.
16. Complaints
If something goes wrong, email support@lintelapp.co.uk and we will respond within 5 working days.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
